Bridgerton is Shondarific!!!
Regency Era of London was Messy and I am Here For it All.
Yes, I am late to the party, I know. I have been trying to make space to watch Bridgerton, but life and the holiday got in the way. I was away for 2 weeks and this week, I attempted to get back into my grove, my normal routine, except that didn’t happen.
Donnie T.’s Capitol Building storm hit and of course Donnie T.’s performance didn’t disappoint, so I tuned in. That reality show curve ball became my entertainment at the top of the week. Then, for the last 2 days, I had family in town and had to do the family thing, food, shopping, airport runs, etc., so really, today has been the only day I found some real time to dedicate to Netflix and Chillin’.
Gosh, I wish it was raining outside because that would be my excuse for why I am about to sit here and binge on Bridgerton. I am about to get lost in a faraway world called Shondaland, and I won’t come up for air until I have seen all the attractions.
Bridgerton had me at the opening scene when Lady Whistledown (a Gossip Girl type anonymous writer) uttered the words, “Grosvenor Square 1813”. I felt a jolt of excitement hit my body and immediately started smiling and my smile hasn’t left my face since. I completed the first episode and immediately decided to write this post.
