Chappelle jokes about a lot of controversial topics, some of which I just don't agree with. However, I don't think it means he's insensitive to these issues. He's a comedian and a brilliant one. I don't believe his jokes are written with hate or in any way meant to bring harm to any community.

And yes he's allowed to have feelings of his own. He's human and not immune to that. I just don't think he wants Netflix to air the show that he's obviously still triggered by. Although Chappelle made it seem like it was his feelings that were in play here, I believe it was more of a financially motivated power move and Netflix obliged.

I understand your point of view, but I just don't see it quite the same.
