a tree waits by a lake for
its Spring leaves to sprout.
My energy was low a couple days ago, so I decided to venture out and explore my neighborhood. It was really cool because I found a quiet lake that sits in the middle of a nearby community. As I sat on a bench listening to the birds chirping in the distance, I noticed the lone tree in front of the lake. It was standing tall, beautifully naked and vulnerable, and I was able to extract a lesson. Sometimes you need to shed parts of yourself for your true beauty to shine or blossom.
