Haiku — Poetry Prompt: Write a letter to winter

Flip flops and tank tops,
spring dresses with bright colors,
I miss you Winter.

I live in Florida, so “Winter” is here one day and poof, gone the next. For instance, it could be 50 degrees (cold for Florida) today, so we get excited by pulling out all our Winter clothing, boots, hats, scarves, sweaters, coats etc. But then, tomorrow the weather warms up to 75 degrees, and we are right back to wearing flip flops, tank tops, and summer dresses. Gotta love Florida, but once in a while, I do miss cold Winters, and most of all, I miss seeing snow. I don’t want it all the time, but maybe just once, so that I could experience nostalgia from childhood.
