Delicious smoothie
Green and filled with nutrients
No dairy needed.
During quarantine, I was obsessed with making smoothies. And they had to be green. I took no pleasure in making smoothies that were pink, blue, orange, or red, they all had to be green. Made me feel like I was doing something right.
I drank so many green smoothies during quarantine, it became a weekly occurrence. I made at least 3 smoothies per week. They became a meal replacement for lunch.
Well unfortunately, I no longer like this recipe, I think I over did it. However, I am sharing it with you because I made it for my family and they love it, although they have since tweaked the recipe, lol. And by tweak, I mean they’ve added alcohol to it a few times.
The recipe is very simple, it only requires 4 or 5 ingredients:
- Frozen bananas
- Spinach or kale (I prefer spinach)
- Almond butter
- Cashew milk (unsweetened)
- Cinnamon (optional but recommended)
