I am in no means a pro at Medium, so my advice is coming from my personal journey. I prefer to write and read poetry. The stories I write are usually ones that leave someone feeling inspired. You have quite a few of those George.

I think there is a huge base of followers for poetry and creative writing on Medium, so I would advise to write more poetry. You will have more eyes on your pieces until you write that one stellar article that instantly skyrockets you to the top. Poetry doesn't generate a lot of revenue, but it does build up viewers.

I am here to become a better writer, so my advice is not to make you an overnight success on Medium.
