I might be the lone woman on this island, but I have never watched Halloween. I am familiar with the Michael Myers character though and from what I have seen he does a great job because he scares the shit out of me. As for the new version, meh, I probably won't watch it either. I don't think you will get hate for your opinion because classic/original movies tend to be far better than their remakes.
