It saddens me to say that everything that you mentioned in this article was something that I struggled with at the company I used to work for. It was hard trying to fit into all those damn boxes. The only thing that you didn't mention that was prevalent in my old company was nepotism. It wasn't what you knew but who you knew or who you were married to.
