It's all about perspective. As a teen, I viewed “Eve” as a symbol of shame. Today, after living my own life and knowing all the mistakes that I have made, I understand that it is through those mistakes that I have learned the most about myself as well as about others.
Perhaps "Eve" caused hardship, and life would've been easier had she not interrupted the balance, but humans thrive on the ebb and flow of life, and it is those ebbs and flows that make this journey beautiful.
I am at a point in my journey where I am beginning to let go of judgement because it is through those judgements that I see the limitations in others as well as in myself. We are all flawed but made in God’s image…so I believe accepting and loving the imperfectly beautiful parts of us, will rid us of our own self-judgements and lead us back to the true divine beings that we are.
Thank you for this exchange. I truly appreciate you.
