Life Goals with Kind Memories
Poetry Prompt — Day 8, 9, 10
performing acts of kindness
is one of my lifetime goals
I’ve made a promise to be loving
and kind to each and every soul.
childhood memories
are filled with acts of kindness
from my dad, he’s got a giving soul
he confirms there’s still hope in humanity
as he shares his soul wholeheartedly
for the entire world to see.
I can remember a time
when I was unkind to myself
memories that forced my mind
into a state of anxiety
those memories have since withered
and faded into the ether.
kindness has become a way of life
it is the deed that sets my soul free
being kinder to myself, and in turn spreading
that kindness to others is a lifetime goal for me.
I missed a few days of these poetry prompts, so I challenged myself by combining 3 prompts into one poem. I hope it worked and I answered all Sahil Patel’s prompt…
