Lock our love in time
so our hearts will forever

I can’t recall when I heard about love locks on the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris, where couples wrote or engraved their names on locks, and locked them to the railing of the bridge, as a symbol of their love. I always wanted to visit. It’s too late now, as the locks were removed because the weight presented a hazard to the bridge. A few years ago, while in Louisiana, I came across this fence by the Mississippi river with love locks and thought it was pretty cool because love does win.
