Sam Dixon Brown, I enjoyed reading your story. I'm glad you are a nomad now and that you were able to mend things back with your parents. 2020 for sure mended a lot of broken relationships.

I also tend to cut people out of my life because of unresolved issues, partly my fault because I didn't bring attention to the issue. Like you, I would cut them off without them even knowing. Thanks for giving me a name to use for this behavior. The door slam. I need to be better at conflict resolution.
