This resonated with me Nancy because our thoughts can certainly take us down some dark paths.

… not your thoughts. You are not what you think and you do not have to believe everything you think. My thoughts don’t define me, so if I find myself in a circle of negative thinking that doesn’t make me a negative person. I just have to take a deep breath, ease up my mind, and have a moment of gratitude.
