"Woke" has been hijacked and weaponize...its meaning is now lost amongst the chaos.

… performative wokeness capitalize on the woke movement and cultural phenomenon in duplicitous ways. Although they appear to embrace social justice causes, it is primarily for self-serving reasons, rather than out of genuine concern for those issues.
